Meet our local activist ecosystem strengthening strategy
Public life takes place in the cities and territories. It’s in the local scope that the population feels the impacts of public policies firsthand and organizes themselves collectively to solve problems and propose solutions. That’s why NOSSAS act to foster and strengthen a network of activist cities, aware of the public power decisions and mobilized for fairer and more democratic policies.
Today, we incubate four local projects in key-cities, where we keep up with democratic guidelines and articulate collective actions alongside social movements, organizations and collectives. Besides Meu Rio, where it all began, Minha Sampa, Minha Manaus and Minha BH are also part of NOSSAS. Furthermore, we integrate Nossas Cidades Network and strengthen other local activism and mobilization hubs.
