Minha Sampa

Created in 2014, Minha Sampa is an action network for a more democratic, inclusive and sustainable São Paulo. The initiative is taken by São Paulo’s population, both by birth and by heart, that keep up with and actively participate in the city’s decision making processes.

In theses 10 years of existence, alongside movements, organizations and collectives of the capital, Minha Sampa has pressured for the opening of  Paulista Avenue on Sundays, has guaranteed 24h-open Women’s Police Station, has taken down a decree that allowed for the retrieving of homeless people’s blankets and has affected so many other public policies.
